Ever since starting the SAAB B204 Turbo swap I wanted to change the fuel lines.
Any stock road car will have the fuel lines under the floor for safety reasons (soaked carpet if leaking etc), but with racecars it is dangerous to have them run under the floor.
The cars are run at a much lower rideheight compared to stock so chances are you rip your fuel lines of the car when you bottom out over high curbstones.
That is why i run the lines inside the cabin, just have to make sure these fittings don’t leak 😉
I have nearly finished the feed line, it will be painted white, and where it runs close to the door sill it will be painted red.
If the marshalls need to cut my out of the car, they don’t accidentally cut the fuelline too!
